My current works much larger than usual, two of the canvases are 4 x 5 foot.

I saw the young man several years ago and asked to take his photo, I saw the young woman last year & she reminded me of  the photo of the young man that I had taken 12 years earlier,  so, they do not know each other but I see them as twins.

They have similar roles in public galleries, but not the same galleries, I started by making prints of them both at different scales and making collages from these, then I used  these collages to construct the paintings.

I had not realised that my easel was not tall enough for me to reach the top of the canvas, so I had to use two easels and work on the canvases horizontally, an added unnecessary difficulty.
